Marjim Investments CC was founded in 1992 by the Sole Member, Richard Tanner (Associated-Mechanical Engineer).

Marjim Investments C.C. is able to advise on and arrange the certification of:

• All relevant building, manufacture, wheel alignment and chassis straightening of trucks

• Handling Dangerous Goods

To ensure compliance with the Standards under the Road Transport Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS/SHE) and South African Bureau of Standards (SABS).

• The submission of Manufacturer, Importer and Builder (M.I.B.) applications to the Department of Transport (D.O.T.), laid down in the Registration of M.I.B. of vehicles, Regulation 39 of the National Road Traffic Regulations, enacted under the Road Traffic Act, 1996 (Act No 93 of 1996)

• Registering Companies for homologations on the E-Natis system.

• Full implementation of all record keeping, regulations, standards, etc required by DOT, SABS, SHE/OHS/SHEQ.

Cheryl Ellis, RSA ID Number: 6101100062082:

Cheryl joined the company in the latter part of 2007, bringing her experience with OHS & SHE. Cheryl puts particular emphasis on the field of safe handling, storage, manufacture and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals. Her expert advice ensures workshops and workers comply with all the safety, health and environmental standards (SHE/OHS).

Cheryl was part of the Committee in Botswana in the late 1990s (a joint venture between the Botswana Government and Denmark) to write the legislation relating to the safe handling, storage, manufacture and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals.
While legislation was being passed, she oversaw the implementation and compliance of workshops, training workshop managers and workers within the parameters of SHE/OHS.
